A covered porch, outdoor kitchen and rebuilt deck, detailed so winter stops taking it apart.

The old deck ledger had been fastened straight to the siding with no flashing. Ten winters of water getting behind it had rotted the band joist along most of its length.
We rebuilt the ledger with proper flashing, put the footings below the frost line, and regraded so the ground falls away from the house instead of into it.
